Another Choice promotion another cheque presented!
Alan Wilks, Funeral Service Operative and Caitlin Crispin-Maguire Funeral Director from Woking Funeral Service were joined by the Air Ambulance for Kent, Surrey & Sussex as they presented a cheque for funds raised by the sale of Choice Funeral Plans.
Choice pledged to donate £50 to the Air Ambulance for every pre-paid plan sold in branch earlier on in the year
In a letter of thanks written by the Lynne Harris – Director of Income Generation it was said that the money raised could help fund aircraft fuel for eight missions and help ensure their crews can keep providing the best possible care to those who really need it.
Lynne goes on to say ‘None of us ever know when we, or families, friends or community may need to depend on this vital service – which is why your support and that of Woking Funeral Service is so important to us. It costs in excess of £6.6 million each year to continue our life-saving work, so we truly value every contribution and we are so grateful to Woking Funeral Service for choosing our charity to benefit from your scheme.
