The festive season is nearly here and whilst it is a time to rejoice and spend time with family and friends we are aware it can be a difficult time for those who have been bereaved.
The loss of a family member or friend can be particularly poignant at Christmas and we would like to remember them.
An activity which has become a funeral directing tradition is the Christmas Memorial Tree and stars, and 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of when this tradition began. Funeral Partners clients who have been bereaved during the past 12 months are sent and invitation to the annual Christmas Memorial Service. Enclosed within the envelope will be a star on which to write a message for their loved one. Once you have written your message you are then invited to either return them through the post or you can call into the branch and place the star on the tree yourself.
