A simple, dignified and low-cost cremation without the formalities of a funeral, with no service at the crematorium.

Choice Essentials Funeral Plan
Covers all essential Funeral Director services
From £2,650
Choice Plus Funeral Plan
Covers all essential Funeral Director services plus embalming and a chauffeured limousine for up to six passengers

Third Party Fees and Additional Products & Services are not included in the Choice Essentials and Choice Plus Plans. Certain Third Party Fees (burial or cremation fees and doctor’s fees, if required) must be paid in order for the funeral to take place, in addition to the funeral plan cost.
With a Choice Funeral Plan
Our Funeral Plan enables you to prepay for certain elements of your funeral in advance and fix the cost of Funeral Director Services, protecting you from the risk of these rising.
- The Funeral Director Services are included
- For Choice Essential and Choice Plus Plans you have the option to make Voluntary Contributions towards Third Party Fees and Additional Products & Services
- You will not require a medical assessment
- You are able to record your wishes to help your family make decisions when the time comes

We have received really excellent and sympathetic service from Sarah and the team at Waterside every step of the way. They have helped us to create a very personalised journey for our late mother, from a small private cremation service to a large memorial service, including the design and printing of beautiful bespoke orders of service, and finally to arranging the interment of her ashes with our late father and the engraving of his gravestone with her details. We are so grateful and would highly recommend Waterside to other families.

Obviously at a terrible time it is vitally important that things are handled properly with care, dignity, respect and compassion. From the moment I entered the premises in Hythe I was treated extremely well. All was clear and straightforward, by this I mean costs as well as arrangements. My wishes were totally followed. Arrangements were quickly put in place, ready for me to confirm. Responses to emails were prompt. The funeral was conducted perfectly. Last minute changes by my sons were accommodated. This is a massively important service to the community and has to be done correctly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

This was the 3rd time of using Waterside for our loved ones over the last 10 years. Every time they have been so kind and helpful and been so respectful to us and our loved ones. Their kindness and professionalism has made an upsetting time more bearable. Helen was very good to us for our initial visit and Sarah was brilliant at subsequent visits and at the funeral service itself. I would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

I have used Waterside Funeral Homes twice now over the years and I have recieved exemplary service on each occasion. Lisa and Sarah have been so helpful and have always been available whether in person, over the phone or email. Nothing has been to much trouble for them and they have guided me when required. On both occasions everything has gone to plan right down to the smallest detail. I would highly recommend Waterside Funeral Home. Thank you for looking after my parents so well when in your care.
