Nicola and her colleagues helped us to arrange my wife’s funeral. They were professional, empathetic and helpful from our first contact with them. Nicola clearly set out the options available to us and showed great patience and understanding whilst we made our decisions. Her attention to detail was excellent and she gave us sound advice and support. She was always available to answer queries and to fine tune our arrangements. I would like to thank Walker and Morell for their professionalism. They kept everything with dignity. They looked after my husband until the day of the cremation in the chapel of rest.They answered all my questions and helped me, gave me support whilst visiting the chapel of rest. Special thanks to Nicola and Connor who were the listening ears. They organised livestream for people that could not come and even allowed a change on the day of service. I would recommend them.

On the passing of my lovely little Mam on 5th November 2021 we found a plan had been put into place by herself and my Dad for their funeral arrangements with Walker and Morrell after both being very impressed, with the care and respect they had shown when they conducted her sister and brother in laws funerals a few years earlier. We met Nicola who came to our house at the drop of a hat and sorted everything, to our whole families total satisfaction. Then again in November this year, 2023 when my Dad also passed, a quick phone call to Nicola’s office and she was there in a crack, at short notice, back to our house sorting the whole job out faultlessly, just as if she’d done it a thousand times before. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her team. We were left in no doubt that we could call her at any time, day or night with any concerns we had and our minds would be put at rest instantly. She sorted everything, from picking Dad up within an hour of his passing, taking the utmost care of him, to getting him ready, paperwork, visits to the chapel of rest, even out of hours, everything. Then taking him on his final journey, again, with total dignity and respect, keeping us informed of everything every step of the way. A one hundred percent professional service from the absolute nicest of people. I could never thank them enough.

Aimee Hughes of Walker and Morrell provided a first class, professional service in dealing with all aspects of my parents' funerals. She provided a caring approach and made an extremely difficult situation much easier, putting us at ease. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept up-to-date with all the arrangements. Everything was handled efficiently throughout the process, with a warm and thoughtful manner, ensuring all our needs were fully met. Walker and Morrell were the right choice of funeral director service for us and I would recommend them above all others I've seen. As a professional service they are a real class act, and so very fitting for our Mam's final send off. The smartness of the team, the look of the cars, their complete professionalism was so important to us. At a time that is probably the hardest in your life to have to deal with Aimee made it more bearable, her caring, knowledgeable and professional approach put us at ease immediately, the team were so accommodating with all our requests and really did take away the stress and anxiety. At a time when you are feeling at your very worst Walker and Morrell put their arms around us and made sure we were completely looked after and cared for. I have attended several funerals over the past couple of years organised by Walker & Morrell and noticed how all of the staff have carried out their duties in a very professional manner.
