The sterry funeral service in Hythe was the best place to go after my mum died. My German mum lived in England for almost 50 years. When I arrived in Hythe from Germany, this service helped me so much. Jeanette and Heidi were very competent, compassionate and helped me so much with all the authorities. This was a big help for me as a foreigner. I'll never forget that. Since I only had a limited time in England, they made everything possible so that I could go home with peace of mind. Thank you Jeanette and Heidi. I can highly recommend this sterry funeral service.

We cannot thank you enough for the excellent service we received. Jeanette (Hythe branch )dealt with all our Funeral arrangements from start to finish, everything was explained fully with complete empathy , thoughtfulness and consideration to our wishes. The staff at Sterry were so helpful, considerate and generous with their time. The arrangements went exactly according to our wishes and they organised everything from start to finish. As it was a Direct Funeral we were able to sit with the coffin in private beforehand and say our goodbyes. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Sterry Funeral Service.

I recently had the very sad experience of losing my beloved Mom. Coming from overseas, the process of how to deal seemed daunting to say the least. The staff of Sterry's was more than just helpful. Everyone was so understanding and immediately took all the stress away. All of my concerns were answered efficiently and with care. My Mom would have liked that. Thanks again ladies.

Absolutely 5-stars. I could not have asked for a better service. Wendy and Ian were wonderful. They were kind, considerate and showed compassion at a time when I desperately needed it. Wendy beautifully arranged my mother's funeral and all the little extras I asked for and kept me informed throughout. On the day, Ian was so kind and supportive! Many thanks to you both. I recently used Sterrys for my late mother's funeral. The service which I received from Sterrys from start to finish was phenomenal. Nicky Stanton who made all the arrangements was outstanding and made me feel so at ease and showed great empathy. She explained clearly the process involved and always asked me if there was anything she could do do help. In addition, I got a call from Ashley (the funeral director)before the funeral event to explain what would happen on the day and also if asked if I had any questions. Needless to say the everything on the funeral day went smoothly from beginning to end. I would highly recommend their services. Many thanks

Sterry were absolutely amazing. I cannot fault them. Nicky in particular was who helped care for my father and also me during this extremely tough and emotional time. Nicky made everything seamless. Very respectful towards us all and extremely caring even after the funeral she is still helping and checking in on me. I would highly recommend Sterry funeral services. They also helped me when I lost my mum too. I honestly cannot praise or that them enough especially again Nicky

Sterry were excellent throughout. Nicky Stanton took us through what needed to happen step by step in a very professional, kind and warm manner. She made everything easy for us and nothing was too much trouble. The team on the day of the funeral were excellent too. Sterry's did what they said they'd do at every stage. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them, particularly Nicky.

Due to doctor strikes/incompetance at William Harvey, my late mothers body was not released to Sterry for 26 days. Without the wonderful Nicky at Sterry I honestly do not know how I would have got myself or my 83 year old father through it. She went above and beyond any usual expectations of service to chase, prompt, argue my case to William Harvey as well as being both compassionate and friendly to me when arranging the funeral arrangements. From Sterry, the whole arranging and service was absolutely faultless from beginning to end with lots of care, understanding, correct information and choice being offered at every stage. If you are unfortunately enough to need a funeral director, I would strongly recommend Nicky at Sterry. She is truly one in a million and has my eternal gratitude.

Nikki was so compassionate, caring, helpful and professional at all times and took us through the numerous services available for our daughter’s funeral arrangements and couldn’t do enough for my wife and I to make it as perfect as possible. She was also able to procure a solid wood coffin to match our personal preference to paint it with an original design and add washi-paper origami cranes containing messages from friends unable to attend in person. Ashley and his team equally provided decorum and gravitas to the movement of the coffin and the help in overseeing our group of pall-bearers at the church. Then the light-touch yet efficient organising of attendees at the church as well as to the cemetery. I would prefer never to go through such an experience ever again but if I did, Sterry’s would be my first choice.
