A simple, dignified and low-cost cremation without the formalities of a funeral, with no service at the crematorium.

Covers all essential Funeral Director services

Choice Plus Funeral Plan
Covers all essential Funeral Director services plus embalming and a chauffeured limousine for up to six passengers

Third Party Fees and Additional Products & Services are not included in the Choice Essentials and Choice Plus Plans. Certain Third Party Fees (burial or cremation fees and doctor’s fees, if required) must be paid in order for the funeral to take place, in addition to the funeral plan cost.

Our Funeral Plan enables you to prepay for certain elements of your funeral in advance and fix the cost of Funeral Director Services, protecting you from the risk of these rising.

- For Choice Essential and Choice Plus Plans you have the option to make Voluntary Contributions towards Third Party Fees and Additional Products & Services

Choosing a funeral director is something you never want to have to do and when you do need them it’s in the darkest of days. Sim and Son were the ray of light our family needed over these last couple of weeks. From the first point of contact they were exemplary and went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Nothing was a problem, they gave advice and support that we didn’t even know we needed. They even let us bring the dog in to say goodbye. All the staff were amazing but I want to single out Nicole, there are not enough words to express our thanks for everything she did, she is a credit to the company.

The team, particularly Nicole, were exemplary. At a time of real sadness and difficulty, I felt like my family was heard and supported and that my Mum was treated with respect and dignity at the end of her life. A massive thank you to all at Sim & Son.

Sim & Son were amazing at helping us through a really difficult time. Shona, in particular, was just brilliant - the perfect mix of kind and pragmatic. She broke everything down into manageable tasks and guided us through every step of the process. All the other team members were so helpful, kind and professional. We really felt we gave mum and dad the send-off they deserved.

Sim and Son have been my family's preferred funeral directors for several years now and most recently (Nov 17th 2023), for my late aunt's funeral. Nicole, the undertaker on this occasion, made her arrangements faultlessly and sensitively. I cannot praise her and her colleagues enough for helping us through a difficult time.
