My son tragically took his own life on 28.1.24. I requested that OHaras looked after him. Anthony was wonderful with us and guided us through this very difficult time. The last 3 weeks have been devastating but his funeral was yesterday. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do but the day was made beautiful by Anthony and his team. We have been treated with the utmost respect and Ollie was treated with so much dignity. Thank you all staff at OHaras in Wimbourne

Saw their car N9 NOH driving on wimborne Road West onto canford bottom yesterday (4th May) at 13:58 using their mobile phone holding it up to their face talking. Very silly in a sign written car especially as there are very good cameras on Canford bottom roundabout. What a great image for the company.... its 6 points and a £200 for a reason. Using a phone whilst driving kills, how ironic being a funeral company.

Both of our parents were looked after by O’Haras and I hope that I too can be looked after by them when my time comes , I cannot express how comfortable the team there made us feel and I never once thought that Mum or Dad where not being looked after even though they had passed away, they are all extremely empathetic people which really shines through when you talk to them , I recommend them completely

I cannot recommend the services of this funeral service enough. Jon Austin and his team were absolutely exceptional, from a home visit to guide us through what we could expect to organising the organist and flowers at our church. It was a faultless service. And most of all the kindness and consideration shown by not just Jon but the pallbearers was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. Thank you Jon, my fathers passing was devastating but you and your team made our ability to honour him and his life so much easier. Thank you so much for all that you and your team do.

I cannot praise Lauren and the team enough for their compassion, care and service that they provided for my Grandmothers funeral at Bournemouth Crematorium in July. As a family we live 350 miles away and were heavily relying on recommendations from Lauren and the team throughout the experience. The recommendations were perfect and the day went so smoothly. The whole experience was very personalised and did not feel as if it was a business providing the service but a family member who cared and gave the upmost respect. The funeral booklets were so beautiful. The driver that took us to Bournemouth, can’t remember his name but he really stood out as well and made the day so much easier for myself and my parents. Members of our family were commenting on how good the whole precession looked as well as the friendly nature of Lauren. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

My mum passed in October. O'HARAS funeral directors were simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Their logo of our family is here for your family perfectly sums them up. The funeral was a simple celebration of a long life and was the highlight of a sad time. Thank you for your outstanding organisation help and support. Special thanks to Anna.

My older brother died recently and it was suggested by the care home that we contact this firm of funeral directors. We were so glad we took up the recommendation. They were absolutely wonderful. The person who looked after us was Anthony O'Hara and he was superb - compassionate, thoughtful, organised, all in a very sensitive, understated way. It seems strange to say it for a funeral but it was a pleasure to have him lead us through what we had to do. I can't thank him enough.

I cannot praise this amazing family business enough. From the moment Philip arrived to collect my beautiful Mum from her home to take her into their care, the professionalism I experienced was second to none. I was kept informed and supported every step of the way. Everyone who attended the funeral or watched via webcast said it was the most beautiful service they had ever seen. Chris Antell captured my Mum perfectly in his words to "Betty". Natalie designed the order of service perfectly, the extra little touches meant so much. I found comfort that I could visit Mum at the Verwood chapel of rest and I thank Nicky for caring for Mum while she was there. Your family were absolutely there for my family and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Had a dreadfully upsetting experience. My son died from suicide at 38 years old. We are an extremely difficult family, which I explained to the allotted funeral director. My ex husband completely took over, making all the arrangements for the funeral without any consultation with me. He lives in Ireland. The funeral director did not consult with me either. They only took notice of my ex husband and ignored me. I was excluded at every level.The celebrant sent me 3 texts about the service. At the funeral, he completely ignored me. Worst experience ever. It was bad enough that my son had died. Choose a funeral director who is experienced in dealing with difficult families. The experience I had with OHara was absolutely dreadful

I had been to a funeral of a friend and the Funeral Director was Chester Pearce. I was very impressed with the service, and the care and sincerity I could see that Steve was giving the family. Shortly after my partner sadly died and of course it was obvious to me that I should choose Chester Pearce. They were wonderful. I was in good hands and I totally felt looked after. Steve and Jodie are amazing and so good hearted and caring and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend this company, they are professional and have the very caring touch too.

Always difficult to give a review on this subject and occasion. You only get one chance to give your love one the right service and send off. On behalf of my family I want to thank Chester Pearce for everything they did to help us, after the passing of my Mum. The kindness you all showed to my Dad and us was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble , even allowing Betty to be part of the process! My Dad adores her.. A massive thank you to Liz for all of your advice and help in organizing everything, to Steve for being such a rock on the day of Mum's funeral, to Jodie for being so caring everytime I rang in and being so helpful in all the little things. But mostly thank you for caring for our Mum in a dignified and loving manner, we felt she was cared for, like she was one of your own. We will be forever grateful The Frost Family xx

I attended today, the lady that greeted and looked after us was by far the best 👌 . Her mannerism, kindness and professionalism was outstanding. It also was beautifully decorated, calming and a very comfortable environment to be in. Thankyou for everything
