On behalf of my family I wanted to say thank you to all of you at Doves Bromley. Everything was handled by yourselves quietly and sympathetically. We always felt confident in your professionalism. Despite the horrible weather on Wednesday, Dad’s funeral went off as well as it could. We feel pleased we could give him a heartfelt send off. The celebrant, Jill Hardy also showed much warmth and kindness to our family both before and during the service. The printed Order of Service were very well done, too. All in all it was a lovely celebration of Dad’s life.

Very professional service. Rose very accommodating when I wanted to visit the chapel of rest. Rose especially put herself out for me on more than one occasion before and after the funeral. Would highly recommend.

Hi, it is rare that I am compelled to write a review but the service that we as a family have received over the past 3 years from the team at Doves Funeral Directors in Bromley following the loss of 3 loved ones in as many years, is nothing short of excellent. Very recently ( 3rd funeral yesterday) Rose couldn’t have been more helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable in talking us through a very distressing time. Her eye for detail, prompt responses to emails and immediate responses on the phone proved to take away so much of the stress of arranging a funeral. Thank you Rose. Before I go I must also draw attention to Donna who along with her gentlemen colleagues also played a key role in the entire funeral service. Her warmth and compassion not only made a huge difference to all who attended but as a bonus her approach to us all manages our spirits on the most distressing of days . Heartfelt thanks (and funny as it may sound) hopefully I won’t see you guys again for a long time 😘🙏

Doves in Bromley arranged the funeral for my mother. Rachel was efficient , friendly and patiently answered my numerous questions. The family also appreciated being able to view mum whose home is not in Bromley. Rachel worked with her colleague at Steven Mears in Lewisham to facilitate this. On the day of the funeral Nick and his team were friendly, patient and tactful in dealing with the long funeral, taking family members to the cemetery and then onto the celebration venue. It was a really hot day but the team remained friendly helpful and professional. Thank you all from the family

Thoroughly recommend Doves. Karen has been brilliant throughout such a difficult time for us, providing a kind and very warm service to our family. When my father died some 23 years ago we used Doves services, so it wasn’t a difficult choice to make when our mother recently died. The service Karen and her team gave was perfect, keeping us informed throughout, offering her best attention at all times and even after the service. Attention to detail was very apparent , even to the point that the funeral cars passed where my father was at rest, a great idea Karen. Many thanks for all you did on the day.

Doves were brilliant. Caring, friendly and never over formal. Cheryl put us at ease whenever we met her. She helped with the Order of Service and incorporated changes we asked for. She also helped when I couldn’t upload a video I edited. The funeral went like clockwork and I also recommend the Bluebell Crematorium. We couldn’t hope for more.

The Sevenoaks Doves office planned and co-ordinated my father's funeral. Cheryl was very helpful and helped organise and guide me on options at what was a very difficult time. Cheryl was also very patient with the last minute changes on the orders of service too. The day of the funeral ran very smoothly, Richard the celebrant led the service perfectly at Bluebell Cemetry. Would definitely recommend.

We can’t thank Doves enough for taking care of everything when it came to arranging the funeral for our dear uncle. The rest of the family live 200 miles away and Doves were incredible, giving us a ‘one-stop package’, arranging the Crem, Church, casket, flowers, order of service, tribute site and everything we needed. The day itself went as well as possible, the funeral director very respectful and professional. We would highly recommend.

Cheryl (Sevenoaks branch) was very professional and helpful in sorting out my Mother’s funeral arrangements. She was able to give alternative choices when my original was unavailable. I was able to contact her when I had questions (and there were quite a few), nothing was too much trouble. She made the process a lot easier. Chris the funeral procession escort contacted me the evening before to explain what would happen, he asked my Mums favourite colour and wore a tie the same colour as a mark of respect. Everything ran smoothly on the day. Everyone involved made the process a lot easier in what was a difficult time for the family involved.

We were supported by a professional and caring team, from Amanda who helped us arrange the funeral and registration with lots of useful advice and compassion, to Kathryn the celebrant who conducted the funeral beautifully and Chris who managed the site team with dignity and respect. They helped us focus on, and celebrate the life of our loved one and that's what we achieved. We couldn't have wished for a better outcome.

Diane at the Staplehurst branch of Doves was kind and sympathetic at a very difficult time for my family. She was professional, respectful and talked us through every step of the process. Diane at Doves Staplehurst helped my family and I put together a lovely funeral for my Dad who passed at Christmas. Diane was kind and caring at a time when we needed support the most answering the vast numbers of questions we had leading up to the day clearly. It is daunting time when a loved one passes and she helped us through the process in a compassionate and professional way. I would like to pay tribute to the staff who, despite the being in the middle of storm Eunice, made the funeral happen. I would recommend Doves Staplehurst to others.

From the moment my sister spoke to Anisa at Doves she knew that she was the person to assist us with the arrangements for our brother. I am pleased to say that I had exactly the same feeling when I first attended their premises in Staplehurst to ask some practical questions without the rest of the family present. Every single interaction was handled with the utmost care, consideration, and professionalism. We needed to feel like we had some control in the situation and were dealing with someone who understood some of the requests we made and did everything possible to accommodate our requests, including a live butterfly release which was a really special moment for all the guests. Anisa and Ted were a rock for us during a difficult time and words cannot do our gratitude justice to them. They helped us to provide a very personal send off for our brother that most of the attendees said was a beautiful celebration of our brothers' life, a day that would not have been possible without the professionalism, dedication and loving care provided by Anisa, ted and all staff from Doves. I would not hesitate in recommending their services and the people who we came into contact with from Doves are a credit to their profession. Just some inadequate words to praise everyone at Doves, Swanley. Karen, Donna and the whole team were outstanding. From the very first meeting in the branch with Karen we knew we were in very, very safe hands. My parents both died within twenty four hours of each other and the family had decided we would like to arrange a double funeral. They both had pre-paid insurance plans, one with Doves and another with a different company, but the other company really didn't seem to be interested in trying to make this work. Karen took the issue into her own hands and, through their Head Office, was able to take control of both. She was outstanding, sensitive, compassionate, supportive and just there for us throughout. She kept us informed on an almost daily basis and gave us gentle reminders when we were approaching a deadline. She also found us the perfect celebrant. Donna, who controlled the events on the day, was just as sensitive and compassionate. We were all treated with the greatest respect, attentiveness and courtesy. We would not hesitate to recommend Doves in Swanley to anyone in need of sensitive support and guidance during this very difficult time.

Our family have used Doves funeral services more than once over the years. We have always found them to be very professional but also warm and sympathetic. The service provided is personal and time is taken to understand what we as the client wants along with making recommendations and suggestions regarding aspects of the service that we may have forgotten about or weren't aware of. I cannot recommend Dove's of Swanley highly enough. At a very difficult and overwhelming time, Karen was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to explain things to us and was so patient and kind. Everything was organised wonderfully for the day and the staff that helped us on the day were also absolutely brilliant. Thank you to Dove's Swanley for helping us to give our father a wonderful send off.

When I visited Bob in the chapel of rest, which they done out of office hours, my daughter and I were pleased with how good Bob looked. In such hard times, Doves made arranging my Nephews funeral so special and helped my family in every way possible through such a difficult time. Chris was our funeral director and was so supportive, attentive, compassionate, professional and overall really brilliant with everything he helped us through during this time. He took into consideration all our needs and implemented them which made the day as special as possible. Chris made my Nephews send off the most beautiful it could’ve possibly been and that’s down to making sure everything was perfect so that my family didn’t have to worry about a thing. Dove’s Funeral Service were amazing in how they supported us in ensuring that my Fathers funeral service was as we wanted. From the initial meeting to discuss both my Fathers wishes and ours, then throughout until the service itself, they were kind respectful and very attentive. The choice of celebrant was also excellent - Karyn who was amazing in everything she did from working with us and members of our family to deliver a wonderful service. Doves in Maidstone made a very sad thing to happen to my family a lovely joyous event. Kayleigh, right from the start was very professional and helped us to decide what we wanted. She kept us informed all the way through the process making it very easy for us at this difficult and sad time. Marc (our celebrant) also advised us on the best way to put together the aspects that we wanted. On the day Chris and his team were very respectful and accommodating. This our first time in using Doves services for our loved one and I have to say I will no longer go anywhere else if we sadly have to use them again!! Haley is the most kindest, thoughtful and patient lady she knew instantly what our Mum would have wanted it’s like she knew her!! The love and care she gives to your loved ones and to families makes the passing of a loved one a little bit more bearable. We will be using their services again to arrange our Mum’s memorial at a later date we wouldn’t go anywhere else for this. This was my first time dealing with a funeral and it was very stressful. Hayley is a lovely, kind lady and Very professional. Hayley visited my home and explained everything clearly and made me feel very at ease. Nothing was too much trouble, was always at the end of the phone if ever i needed something or even if it was for a chat. Which i thought was a nice thing to do. Organising a funeral for your loved one is very difficult but Doves Larkfield where great. The day my brother and I went in to sort out mum's funeral Jenny was absolutely amazing. Nothing was to much trouble, very pleasant and warming. Jenny had so much compassion, empathy and was very caring made the whole situation so much easier. The actual day came and Matthew the Funeral Director arrived with mum and was very calm and comforting and explained what was going to happen with compassion. When my wife died recently I had no idea which funeral directors to approach. Searching online I found some very complimentary reviews about Jennie at Doves, Larkfield. From the first phone call everything went perfectly. Jennie guided us through the process and at points of indecision explained the consequences of taking certain courses of action clearly but without pressure. She was unfailingly helpful and empathetic throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Jennie made us feel as though we were her only clients, which of course we were not, and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who needs a thoroughly professional funeral director.

Recommending a funeral directors is never something you want to do because it means you have lost someone very dear to you. When we lost our son in law recently, Doves were recommended to our family & we are so grateful they were. Jennie & her team were there from the beginning to help our daughter say her final goodbye to her husband. Julie from Sittingbourne branch of Doves is a wonderful caring person.My brother our families and my self cannot thank her enough for her caring ways she had from start to finish. I honestly can't thank Julie, Chris, Colin and Glenn enough - they truly went above and beyond to make this process easier for my gran, mum and myself. From the moment I contacted Julie at Doves in Sittingbourne she was caring, compassionate and genuinely cared that we got the best service and best day we could possibly have. Chris was our funeral director on the day and he did absolutely everything possible to guide us through the day, helping us along and giving us support and reassurance.
