David at Erdington branch was so supportive at the most difficult time. He explained everything we needed to know without overwhelming us and guided us with compassion at every step. We found it much easier to arrange everything through Painters; celebrant, flowers, order of service etc. it took a lot of the stress out of a very difficult time. A couple of days before the service, Susie our Funeral Director for the service, called to introduce herself and explain what would be happening on the day. She looked after us on the day and guided us each step of the way and we were able to have the service we wanted. When we went to bring dad’s ashes home, we were again welcomed warmly by David who put us at ease and again supported us through the difficult experience.

Jeanette Husselbee at William H Painter, Castle Bromwich came highly recommended to my family to help organise my Father's funeral. Jeanette made the entire experience totally painless she helped and supported us throughout the entire process. She designed a beautiful order of service for us and everybody said it was one of the nicest they had ever seen!! Emma dealt with the Funeral of my father in March 2019 and I had no doubts to return on the death of my mother in November 2022. She is excellent. She guided us through the process and we felt a weight had been lifted on our return home. The communication and attention to fine detail meant the funeral ran perfectly and gave a dear mother a good send off. The Reverend was also excellent and they worked together well. On the day of the funeral Victoria took control and handled the procedure and family very well.Thankyou.

Our mother's funeral was handled so professionally by Julie and the team, and we cannot thank them enough. Frankie Campbell, the celebrant they recommended was so gentle and kind to us, and also managed to deliver the most beautiful service, which made the funeral into a celebration of a life well lived. The Orders of Service were lovely, and we were hand held every step of the way. Being able to spend time with mom before the service was also dealt with empathetically and the personal touches that they had taken the time to do truly touched us. Forever grateful and we would definitely recommend.

Your team were exceptional. From the gentleman who collected my father and moving him to your establishment, Karen, who is so caring and understanding and always kept me updated with either a phone call or email. The lovely Katie who was with us on the day of the funeral (apologises I do not know the drivers name), absolute treasure she was. Making sure I had not forgot my fathers pictures from the service. Frankie the celebrant. She was amazing and truly kind and witty. Everyone that I have made contact with at William H Painters have been so professional and made my saddest time so much bearable. Faultless service from start to finish with genuine, caring staff. The Chapel of Rest at Yardley is simply beautiful. We visited twice and on both occasions the lady knocked the door very gently and whispered ‘hello *name*, you have a visitor’. This was such a wonderful touch, so respectful. Please continue to do this for families. On the day of the funeral itself, the staff were courteous, helpful and highly professional but everything was done with a very friendly and human touch which we appreciated. They made a difficult day bearable. Special thank you to Katie (Yardley) and Emma (Dovehouse) for all that you did and I’m glad we chose Painters to look after our dad x

I can’t recommend the Yardley branch highly enough. The staff we dealt with, Helen and Katie, were absolutely fantastic. They helped guide us through the whole process, they were professional but at the same time very friendly and caring. They put us at ease and made the process of arranging dad’s funeral so simple, which is just what we needed as we have never done this before. They genuinely made us feel like we were important and that the care of dad was their top priority. Every single time I spoke to them they asked how we were and how mom was doing. I just can’t fault them and I’d be more than happy for them to take care of me when the time comes!
