I can highly recommend Godalming Funeral Services. They have recently handled my uncle's funeral where they have been really professional, helpful, empathetic and caring. I can honestly say nothing was too much trouble and they were available at all times to answer my questions. Many thanks in particular to Anghus.

A very big thank you to Godalming Funeral Service, especially Christina and Sue our lovely celebrant. The service I received for my Mums funeral was fantastic from begining to the end. They were all so kind and thoughtful and helped me all the way with all the organising. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks again Sue Butt.

Angus at Godalming funeral service, well what can we say but wonderful, he was just so caring about our situation it was a little different than normal, and guided us through every step. He understood what was going on and just said don’t worry we will arrange and organise it all. The love he has for his job the respect and care in his manor and voice was calming and professional. He took great care with my partners mother once she had been collected. They are the best we have seen. He recommended Karen Davis to be our celebrant. Karen was also to us the best, while reading out memories and stories you could feel the love in every word, and goes all out with guidance and help to make it perfect. We were told on the day that it was the most beautiful service they had attended. If we could give higher than a 5* we would.

My mother died on the 5th of August this year, it has been an extremely challenging time. My mother had a funeral plan in place which included the wonderful service of James and Thomas funeral directors. From the beginning of the process things were made so much easier than they could have been and this was in large part thanks to Angela who guided us through the process with kindness and patience. Everything on the day of the funeral went perfectly and we'll be forever grateful for the kindness, help and support that we received.

I really can't praise Paul, Anghus and the team highly enough. Having worked with Paul previously, I followed him to Godalming Funeral Services to have my mum's headstone made and installed. Paul is so incredibly kind, understanding and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone for all the personal touches, knowledge, service and cost. Thank you for everything you have done for our family which has culminated in the grave I always imagined for my Mum.

I found the experience of using Godalming Funeral Service uplifting and entirely satisfactory throughout the whole funeral process. The staff from manager down were friendly very helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was to much trouble with great attention being paid to the smallest retail with the result that everything went smoothly. I received a number of complimentary messages to that effect from attendees. The unfailing cheer-fullness of staff made what could have been a solemn and over-bearing occasion, bearable. I would unhesitatingly recommend the service to others.

The service that no likes to think about but really does need! Paul and the whole team at Godalming Funeral Service made this process as gentle as they could. Nothing was rushed and they explained the process, the options and what we needed to do and navigate in order to complete the admin as well. I was lucky that my mother knew what she wanted and gave us clear instructions and I would encourage open communications if time allows. I relayed this to Paul before she passed away, which really helped when you are then dealing with raw emotion of loosing someone you love. These chaps are there to hand hold, support and ensure that you are able to deliver the most fitting finale for our loved ones. I wouldnt hesitate in encouraging everyone to think about their services before they need it. Top team, top care and all with a delightful human touch. Outstanding.
