The service that was provided by E Sargent & Son during the loss of my father was excellent. Everyone that I dealt with displayed huge empathy and professionalism throughout the entire process. On the day the staff and vehicles were immaculate. I am sure that my father would have been very pleased.

Vicki was very helpful, both in arranging the funeral and subsequently. She listened carefully to the family’s wishes and adapted her approach and service offerings appropriately. There were some delays as a result of backlog at the Registry Office and she never seemed flustered. I was particularly impressed by her level of contact, always keeping me informed of progress before and after the funeral. Excellent service all around.

I highly recommend E Sargeant and Son. They are a very caring team; just what you need when you are coping with a terrible loss. Vicki Newell was a wonderful person to deal with. She was calm, efficient, friendly and put us at ease. She organised all the elements of my father’s funeral really quickly and secured the crematorium and celebrant of our choice. On the day, Rob looked after us and was very gentle and kind. Thank you to the whole team.

I got in touch with E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors in the early hours of the morning and I was instantly put as ease. Their team arrived within the hour and explained every step they were going to do, to take my mum away. I'd never witnessed this before, but I was very happy how they dealt with it. I was then guided by Katrina through the whole process of arranging the funeral. I booked my mums funeral with slough branch. Every member of E Sargent was absolutely amazing, understanding my every need and were caring throughout. Ellie was wonderful and sincere throughout my booking process. Emma helped on the day of the service, she was so kind and attentive. To be honest, I would not have made it through the day without her. She has a naturally caring approach and always made sure to check on me, I can not thank Emma enough for making such a difficult day so bearable. We cannot thank E Sargeant enough for the kind and compassionate way they dealt with Dad’s funeral arrangements. Ellie and Jose made everything easy for us and nothing was too much trouble. They took care of Mum’s cremation 29 years ago and were looking after her until Dad passed. We put Mum in with Dad, and they took the final journey together. I have spoken to lots of people about this and they have never heard of it, so thank you to Sargeant’s for this special extra service. I would highly recommend E Sargeant’s to anyone.

We were impressed with the effort taken to make her look ‘presentable’ during the viewing, especially since we initially said we didn’t want a viewing. Rob was very helpful when we were initially discussing options and was very patient when we were struggling with deciding details such as which flowers to go with, and on the day Jose was very courteous and helpful and unfortunately due to misunderstanding, we left him waiting for a significant amount of time (apologies once again).

I had used Sargeant's before for my mother's funeral and so chose them again. We were not disappointed. Everything was dealt with promptly with kindness and empathy. Peter Wicks guided us through the organisation of the funeral, contacting the various people and organisations involved, putting us in touch with a celebrant to conduct the funeral itself and the Minister from St Michaels Bray for the internment of my wife's ashes. The funeral itself was carried out by Rob and his team at the cemetery with sensitivity and respect. Importantly all our wishes were carried out and and the administrative issues were all dealt with on our behalf, which was a great relief.

I used E Sargeant & Son in Maidenhead to arrange my husband's funeral in April 2022. I am very pleased with the service provided at the funeral. Peter was very kind, thoughtful and compassionate and made the whole process much easier and smoother. Peter @ E Sargeant did a great job helping organise everything for my Mum and before, for her husband during Covid (which was obviously a complicated challenge). It's always a very difficult time to be thinking about these arrangements but having a sympathetic and organised support outside your immediate family is both useful and timely. A really good company with a personal touch.
