Sadly this is the third time of using Ashdown’s at Blackfen, but this is for a reason, their compassion and professionalism is exemplary. The personal touch on this occasion from Karen was so needed and very much appreciated, the team took care of absolutely everything they take the stress of the whole occasion away and the day went faultlessly even matching our humanist to us. This was yet another sign of how professional they are he (Trevor) was an amazing fit . It’s so important to get this day right and Ashdown’s did this. Forever grateful. Tony & Zoe

On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to say a massive thank you to Ashdowns for the care and support with the arrangements of my husband’s funeral. In particular I’d like to thank Karen at the Sidcup branch who personally went the extra mile to ensure our wishes were followed through and was always there to answer our many questions. Also to Matt and the team on the day who ensured everything went smoothly. Overall the whole team made us feel reassured and confident that our loved one was taken care of. We can’t thank you enough and would recommend Ashdowns whole heartedly. Thanks again Janet and family

Sadly my Dad passed away in December and I went to Ashdown Funeral Services in Blackfen ,which I had previously used 20 years before when my Mum passed away. I met with Claire who was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I went into Ashdown Claire was very kind and comforting. Claire made the whole process very easy from start to finish and she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Claire introduced us to a wonderful celebrant called Jac who conducted my Dad's service and she was also superb in what she did, again also making the whole process easy at what was a very difficult time. Because of Claire and Jac my Dad was given a wonderful send off and I would highly recommend Ashdown for their professional, caring approach.

My wife of 54 years sadly passed away on 23 December 2023 in very difficult circumstances. Clair at Ashdown's in Blackfen Rd, and her team, were extremely helpful in every respect. Not only in guiding myself and my son's through every aspect of the process, but reacting favorably and positively to changes throughout the process. These included her colleague Karen and the arrangements for a celebrant (Ruth Voce) to Kelly who led the team on the day of the funeral, plus the last minute task of setting up a webcast that has enabled me to pass 'film' of the service on to relatives who were unable to attend. Clare is amazing, she answered any questions we had, put our minds at ease & made us feel welcome whenever we needed to speak or see her. Donna on the day of the funeral was also amazing & was there to guide us the whole way & Sacha who conducted the service was just the best & we couldn’t of asked for anyone else to help us give our mum the send off she deserved, they are a great team & highly recommend them at Ashdowns.

Kelly and her team so so good done my dad funeral of late Richard swan who pass away on 28th of may 2024 . Kelly help me and my sister emma all the way throw. When want to see dad he look so good and at peace Kelly also work around us as we only get down weekends. I would 100% tell people to use them their so good glad we used them x

Cannot fault Ashdowns. I worked with Kelly and she was amazing. Took so much pressure off me and helped me to arrange a beautiful send off for my beloved Nan. The team on the day were brilliant and even wore ties in nans favourite colour which was a really thoughtful and lovely touch. Thank you so much Kelly for all your help and guidance. Xx

Kelly was a shining light in a very difficult time, she was so supportive, informative and professional , everything was perfect for our goodbye to dad. Donna the undertaker on the day and her staff were just amazing, and got us through the experience so smoothly. I would highly recommend Ashworths. Tanya x

Kelly smith is absolutely amazing and she got me through a really difficult time when I lost my wife, she has stayed In regular contact since the funeral just to check if I am ok.this means the world and there are not enough people like her .I would like to say a massive thank you to Kelly and ashdowns for the first class service.kelly is a real asset to your company. Kelly was wonderful guiding us through this unknown process at such a difficult time. She was welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Most of all she was so kind and caring. We knew Dad was being looked after. We can’t thank her enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
